Cannot find(connect to) my Computer
1. Whether to install the MouseLink application on PC. If it is not installed, please go to: https://mouselink.app/start to download and install it.
2. Have you allowed the MouseLink PC application to pass firewall permission restrictions?
3. Whether your computer and mobile device are set up on the same network (Wi-Fi network)
If the above operations have been completed, you can try to use Qr Code or enter the IP to connect to your PC.
Application determined to be a virus?
Since this program requires an Internet connection, anti-virus software may misidentify it as a virus. Don’t worry, this program is a safe application. You can temporarily disable your anti-virus software or add the program to the exception list of your anti-virus software.
Why do I need to enter a password when logging in?
You have set a login password in the MouseLink desktop application. If you do not need a password to protect the connection security, you can clear the password.
How to enter text?
After you enter text on the keyboard, you can click Enter in the lower right corner of the mobile keyboard and the text will be entered into the computer.
Why should I allow the Mouse Link desktop application through the firewall?
Because desktop applications need to send or receive data through the network to achieve specific functions. Desktop applications will not work if they are not allowed through the firewall.
What Port does the Mouse Link desktop application use?
The default is TCP 11521, UDP 11521. However, if the default Port is occupied, the used Port will be automatically incremented until it is no longer occupied.
How do I check that the Mouse Link desktop application is working properly?
If the application starts normally, you can open the desktop application. Click the “Status” tab to view the current application operating status.
There is an update to the application. Do I need to update it?
When there are new updates to the app, please be sure to update both the desktop app and the mobile app to the latest version to enjoy the new features!
UAC (User Account Control)
It may not work in some cases due to UAC restrictions. Please use UAC to run the Mouse Link in “Settings”.
When the application has higher permissions than the Mouse Link desktop application (for example: Task Manager), it cannot control the mouse or keyboard. UAC permissions are then required to resolve this issue.
